Heute, nach circa einem Jahr, hunderte von Überredungsversuchen habe ich sie endlich in der Hand.
Mein kleiner großer
Rebel.
Als wir vor zwei Wochen auf der Base waren und im
KMC Exchange
(BX/PX) die Camera gesehen hatten und sie preislich bei
$539,99 dachten
wir, geil, aber wir warten noch vielleicht geht sie in 2-3 Wochen noch
im Preis runter. MöpMöpMöööööp - scheisse wars. Sie war wieder beim
alten Preis von
$599,99. Na toll! Was war bloß geschehen? Nun, es war
nur ein
Sale für kurze Zeit - den wir so nicht wahrgenommen hatten.
Mist.
Ich war so niedergeschlagen dachte wir machen hier nen guten Deal aber
neeee. Hab sie natürlich trotzdem gleich mitgenommen, denn noch länger
wollte ich nicht mehr warten.
Schnell noch eine SD Card geschnappt und ab zum bezahlen.
Ich habe mich für die
Canon EOS Rebel T3i oder auch
600D wie sie in Deutschland (und weiten teilen Europas) heißt. Ich bin ganz froh diese und nicht eine andere gekauft zu haben - denn nun muss ich mich erstmal in der Welt von
Weißabgleich und co zurechtfinden.
Die 600D ist einer der besten
Einsteiger-Spiegelreflexcamera auf dem Markt den Canon zu bieten hat.
Wenn man auf der Internetseite
Snapsort die beiden Cameras 600D und das
neuere Modell 700D vergleicht ist es nur
minimal besser. Geht man nach Punkten hat die
700D (T5i) mit 59 pkt und 600D 58 pkt abgeschnitten.
Wenn ihr auch Probleme habt euch zwischen verschiedene Cameras zu entscheiden wie ich, gebe ich euch diese Tips mit auf eurem Entscheidungsweg.
1. Macht ne Liste von den Cameras die euch interessieren, und seit realistisch was den Preis betrifft!
2. Lest lest und nochmals lest Rezesionen. Auch
Snapsort liefert ein Feature wenn es um den Vergleich von technischen Daten geht.
3. Ermittelt die Art von Fotographie die ihr machen wollt. Z.b Natur, Portraits, Tiere, Beautyblogging etc. Seit aber auch hier realistisch und sagt nicht ich will hiervon Fotos machen und davon. Viele sagen es kommt oft von ganz alleine. Dies wird euch auch bei der Entscheidung helfen das richtige Objektiv für eure Bedürfnisse zu finden.
4. Wählt eine Kamera die mit euch wächst.
5. Geht in Media Markt oder Saturn und nimmt mal eine in die Hand, schaut ob euch die Knöpfe an den stellen stört oder nicht.
Meiner Meinung nach und auch wenn ich Freunde und Bekannte nach deren Meinung frage, kommt es auf das
Objektiv drauf an. Persönlich bin ich grade ganz zufrieden mit den Ergebnissen mit dem im Set enthaltenen
18-55mm Objektiv. Natüüüürlich will ich es bei der einen nicht belassen, aber es fehlt eben gerade so ein wenig am Geld, da viele Objektive schnell über
300+ Euro kommen.
Vielleicht hat mein Schatzerl erbarmen mit mir und schenkt mir eines zu Weihnachten/Mein Geburtstag?!

Today, aprox one year later, hundreds of attempts at persuasion I finally hold it in my hand. My little
Rebel.
Two weeks ago as Matt and I have been at the
KMC Exchange (BX/PX) to look at possible Cameras we saw that my Camera had a price cut. It originally was
~ $600 and went down to
~ $540. We were like, awesome but let's wait another
2-3 weeks and see if the price drops even more.
So we went back there today...and were
SHOCKED! I went
UP again?
WTF? How is that possible? Well, apparently it was only a
limited time offer which we weren't fully aware off.
Of course I was like meh I will take it anyway, and so I did. I quickly grabbed a
SDCard and headed to the register .Obviously I
wasn't happy about the price tag but I guess sometimes when you wait too long it can backfire, which it obviously did.
After weeks of intense research I decided on the
Canon EOS Rebel T3i. I am glad that I chose this one and did not end up with another one.This was recommended to me by quite a lot of people. According to them it's a great
Entry Level DSLR and it's a
great value for that price.
I was watching Youtube vids on the daily (not kidding) to kind of get
an idea what cameras are out there and how they perform etc.
If you struggle with deciding on a camera do what I did.
TIPS THAT HELP YOU DECIDE ON A DSLR
1. Make a
list of the cameras that interest you and compare them. I did
3 Cameras.
Canon T3i, T5i and Nikon D5300. Granted, Nikon D5300 is
better than the T5i so also better than my T3i - but I wanted something easy and something I can run up to friends with knowing they can help me cause they own a t3i themselves.
2. Next step would be, read reviews reviews reviews and even compare the specs on
SNAPSORT
3. Find out what kind of photography you want to do. Don't say I want to take pics of this and pics of that. Be realistic. It will come naturally, or so I was told. It will also help with deciding on the right glass (lens).
4. Choose a camera that grows with you.
5. Go in a store like Tesco or Best Buy and hold a Camera in your Hand. If it's too heavy find one that is lighter...or if that doesn't suit you maybe you shouldn't go for a DSLR.
People say the Body really isn't all that important, as long as you stay in the
double digit Megapixels. It's the
lenses that
make the
difference in photography and it's true. Personally I am entirely
satisfied with my
18-55mm Kit lens. There is no doubt in my mind that I will get myself 2-3 more lenses but at this point I don't need another one. First, I need to find my way into
Whitebalance, Aperture and co. and quite frankly there is something very important missing...the
change - it was somewhat a
Splurge today so I am not investing in other Glasses any time soon. Maybe my
Bubba (Matt) will be as awesome as he is and buy me one for Xmas aka my Birthday :)
A girl can dream right?
